Hello, this was found in June in Hungary in a meadow. I think that this has to be Zeuxia brevicornis, but I’m not sure in this.. I could exclude all other Zeuxia spp; but I’m not sure in the genus. Could you help me please?

Thank you! I thought that it is weird so I checked and it has hypopleural bristles. Postscutellum was a bit weird, not as protruding as generally. What do you think? Rhinophoridae maybe?

So, I made pictures of the hypopleurals: these are the hypopleurals, right?

And the postscutellum:

So, what is the size, roughly ?
Proclinate orbital bristles support Zeuxia, but there is no species match in this genus.
It could very well be a Phyto (Rhinophoridae).

Thank you, Theo! Lenght is 7,5 mm.

That is a bit small for Zeuxia

I have a hungarian Rhinophoridae key (Mihályi 1986) So I’m trying to key this one out with it about the specimen.

You end up with Phyto cingulata or something. I am not sure.
