Hello, I photographed this fly on camomille on July 22, 2023 in Vienna. I suppose it is Urophora cardui, but I would ask for confirmation or correction.

The two black V-shaped marks are clearly not fused at the hind margin of the wing, so U. quadrifasciata should be a better choice. It lives on Centaurea species. See https://www.royen...-White.pdf for information on Tephritidae.
