Hi all!

I guess its head is broad enough to make this one a Tabanus maculicornis.

approx 12 mm

3.6.2023, Germany, Upper Bavaria, Kohlstatt near Bergen, lower end of the ski slope of Mt. Hochfelln, about 750 m a.s.l., coordinates about 47.77657, 12.55417
