Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Identification of female Tipulidae

Hi,
I just found this Tipulidae on my balcony (near Bologna, Italy). I was wondering whether it could be the female of Tipula (Lunatipula) magnicauda, a species of which I found the male a few years ago.

Is it possible at all to confirm species on females? :|
