Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Christmas fly

1. To avoid sending empty thread I found an unidentified Acalyptrate from july, Moscow region. In july I didn't show this image without visible wing venetion. But now I decided that unusual shape of 2-nd antenae segment give some hope on identification.
2. I very hope than my next thread will be in 2-3 janv with some tropical fly from Thailand.

This fly is Psila fimetaria (Linn?, 1761) a Psilidae, the drawing of his thorax is typica in French is "Psile des fumiers" a dung fly

Thank you Louis, it is my first personal acquaintance with Psilidae.
Je ne sais pas le mot "fumier", fume - smoke, fumier - ?

"Fumier" means "stable litter" a fly who leave on stable litter
