Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Muscidae unknown NL->Zaphne divisa

Can somebody help with the ID of this Muscidae male? It is from Kekerdom, the Netherlands, collected the 23th of July. It has some dusted stripes on the thorax, a quite bristly appearance and the mid femora seem to be slightl curved.

Hi Nikita, you put me in the right track. Because it was a large and robust fly with a long haired arista, I just thought it was a Muscidae. Now I decided to check the genitalia, and indeed, it is
Zaphne divisa (Anthomyiidae). I posted the picture of the genitalia here (there are a lot of pictures):
