I presume this is a Syrphidae larva because of what I think are 2 prp.
Seen on a Field Maple (Acer campestre) leaf, at a time when there were many aphids around.
2nd June 2022 @ 19:20
Flensburg, N. Germany, 54.753333N 9.421111E, elevation +/-50m

Moin Ray, I'm quite sure it's a Syrphus ribesii - red form.

Moin Ray, I'm afraid I cannot help with the Syrphi: I'm not an expert and I've only found one male of torvus some years ago and it had hairy eyes. But it seems, that this is difficult to see at females. (Fotogids Zweefvliegen, André Schulten).
