Quite small for a bug, about 4-5mm long. I think it is of the Nabidae family but have no idea of the species.

Looks more like family Lygaeidae to me, and perhaps something like Oxycarenus lavaterae, judging by the photos at:
http://www.koleop...index.html

Oxycarenus lavaterae, without any doubt.
Very, very, very common in any plant of the Malvaceae family - I've seen even in Hibiscus syriacus-.
