Location: Germany, Northrhine-Westphalia, Rheine, 35 m above sea level, garden
Time: 18th April, 2022
Photos: Markus Koschinsky
Body size: approx. 11 mm, including wings 13 mm, with all legs ~30 - 35 mm

Dear Forum,

the wing pattern remembered me at Sylvicola, but it's too large, isn't it? Tipula rufina or this direction?

Thanks,

Markus

Hello Markus, I think it's a Limonia nubeculosa (Limoniidae) - distinguished from resembling ones by the three dark bands on the femora.
