Dear all,
on 14.07.2020 I found this fly in Berlin (Germany). Do you know this species?
Best,
Adrian

You are right. I only thought of
Sciapus with such long legs and forgot
Neurigona (although very frequent here)...

Thank you for the hint, that is very helpful!
Using this key:
https://diptera.i...Europe.pdf I think it could be
Neurigona quadrifasciata.
(Key on p. 102)
1 -> no hypopygium = female -> 6
6 -> mesonotum is yellow (not dark) -> 7
7 -> mesonotum is matt -> 8
8 -> abdominal tergites with black transverse bands ->
N. quadrifasciata
Though I noticed that
N. cilipes is not in the key. I can't find any information / picture from that species. Do you know whether it could be
N. cilipes?

I just found another source which has all the five species occuring in Germany.
https://zmmu.msu....20Inet.pdf and from that I conclude that it must be
N. quadrifasciata.
N. cilipes has a dark mesonotum.
