Dear all,
on 27.06.2020 I found this couple of Drosophilidae flies during the night on a fungus growing out of a tree in Berlin, Germany. I guess they were around 3mm large. Do you know which species this is? Thank you in advance!
Best, Adrian

Hirtodrosophila trivittata. Only two localities are known from Germany according to taxodros.uzh.ch
According to the action of this pair yyou may predict that soon you shall be able to see there further flies of this species. Please do not use Pleurotus fungi from this place for your kitchein - note that it is not good to eat mushrooms with worms :-)

Yes, sure. Btw, you should try to collect some specimens for entomological collection of your choice.
