When I analyse list of Cheilosia species in www.faunaeur.org I didn?t find a Cheilosia scanica Ringhdahl,1937.
It is a mistake in F.E. or the species was regarded as unvalid??
In paper C. Clau?en and M.C.D. Speight ?Names of uncertain application and some previously unpublisched synonyms, in the European Cheilosia(?)?.Volucella 8,2007. According this text.Cheilosia scanica status and nomenclature was under review.
Are some new publication about systematic status of Ch. scanica??
