Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Tachinidae NL, Medina collaris? => Medina sp. M

Hello,
I found this Tachinid fly in the Bentwoud area in the west of the Netherlands on 14 may. It looks like Medina collaris, but if i'm not mistaken, this genus is not easy to ID from picture? Is M. collaris correct or is it not possible to ID?

Yes, Medina male but the dusting pattern on thorax contradict collaris. It is probably M. separata, the common parasitoid on Coccinellidae.
