John, it doesn't look exactly like the discription of Goetghebuer (Chironomides de Belgique et spécialmente de la zone de Flandres. Bruselas 1921). Maybe "green" is relative. :D
But with a bit of flexibility... :) And the photos in https://www.gbif.org/ don¡'t fit either with this description. Their colour fit my specimen and are very similar, even taking into account that mine is a female and all the specimens on gbif.org males.
