TEAM Second International Symposium

First Announcement
The second International Symposium of TEAM (Tephritid Workers of Europe Africa and the Middle East) will be held in Kolymbari, Crete (Greece), July 3 – 6, 2012. The program includes 3 days of plenary talks, oral and poster presentations arranged in specialized symposia, and one day excursion.
Tephritidae invasion: biology, ecology and economics will be the main focus of the symposium. Nevertheless, we accept papers on all aspects of fruit fly biology, taxonomy, genetics, ecology, evolution, behaviour, natural enemies, control, quarantine regulations, and area-wide SIT programs.
All fruit fly workers and friends from Europe, Africa and the Middle East, as well as from all over the globe are invited to participate. The registration fee is expected to be around 100 EUROS. A restricted number of scholarships for facilitating participation might be available for a limited number of students and colleagues from developing countries. The first circular with more details will be available soon.

Call for contributions of talks and posters!
As established at previous Hoverfly Symposia, we will have a single programme of talks as well as posters. Key note talks by leading researchers are being arranged and contributions across all subjects are encouraged!
To reserve a place in the programme, please send Graham Rotheray (g.rotheray@nms.ac.uk) by 1st April 2011, provisional titles of talks and/or posters or, preferably, confirmed titles and abstracts of up to 300 words. Talks can be up to 15 minutes long.
For those sending provisional titles, we will need, by the end of May 2011, confirmed titles and abstracts.
I can no longer send private messages (and maybe not receive?), even though my inbox and outbox are not yet full. I write, click "send" and they disappear and never show up in the outbox.
Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
