If I receive more information telling you about the life and works of this excellent researcher, I will post it here. Jim O'Hara in Ottawa told me the sad news this afternoon that Dick Vockeroth passed away in Ottawa this morning. Dick was a remarkable Dipterist with a very wide knowledge of flies and their habits, and full of great enthusiasm. He will be missed by the Diptera community.
