@Larry - because non-fly identification postings are rationed (a certain number per person per day) ... this was done to maintain the primarily Diptera focus of the forum

thx ! I hope it will be useful. The species of the Gymnomus are difficult for examination. Most of specimens are collected in caves and kept in alcohol, so the natural colours are often invisible
