According to wikipedia, the largest tipulids can get 64 mm long. I haven't found any primary source for this, but 64 is higher than 60.

I seem to recall reading that tropical species of Mydidae are the largest of all flies... so probably not that.

Perhaps open the image in a file editor, 'save as' under the same name and try again. Often helps to cure resource fork problems in the image.

Changing file name got the 2nd image to load but the first image is still refusing, second file name is the same but with an 'a' at the end.
