'Holding' might not be the perfect description. Apparently the armature makes contact with sensitive places on the female, coaxing her to agree to mate.
Paul Beuk 16 November 2017 13:43:05
Is was not quite sure whether the word would apply correctly, but, yes, that is okay.
oceanlis2000 15 November 2017 11:29:07
How about armature, would that fit? based on http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.11 11/j.1365-3113.2008.00422.x/pdf it would seem that these spines etc are used to hold the female!
Paul Beuk 14 November 2017 09:22:33
All spines, ridges, lobes, etc. on the femur.
crex 14 November 2017 08:36:56
I think bewaffnung is like weapons (on femur 1).
oceanlis2000 13 November 2017 13:10:22

oceanlis2000 26 October 2017 12:37:37

It was an inode issues. In practise, I think it means there were more files on the server than the system catered for. The limit has been doubled and we should be save for quite some time.
