I don't like the use of alcohol. I rather drink it Wink It is easy to put the flies on EtOH, but to use them laater becomes a nuisance.

Micropinning IMO is better than glueing, but I put most in alcohol these days.

Who of you is glueing tiny flies on cards? Until now I am used to minuten pins, but read that glueing has certain advantages.

In general, Narthuk's key in Bei-Bienko (Keys to the insects of the European part of Russia) leads to the right track, but in the Oscinellinae part I prefer Collin's old (1945) British key.
