Hi, can I get an identification for this robber fly please? Thank you! It was sampled in Pahang, Peninsular Malaysia. Measuring around ~ 1 cm. Thank you! Sue_londkl attached the following image: [164.3Kb] Edited by Sue_londkl on 27-02-2021 06:53 |

Hello, there is a special subforum for Asilidae, where the specialists for that family are very active. But I (layish) don't think this is Asilidae. More likely Empidoidea. Subfamily Asilinae or Ommatiinae. A closer view of the antennae will help separate these options. |
