Stomoxys calcitrans Juvenile Fly spreads wings.

Photos 23 Aug 2016. Badem, RLP, Germany. These flies were hatching in the gravel by my house & then climbing the wall to dry their wings.

It's a pity we cannot see the proboscis -I think it's a still teneral Stomoxys calcitrans.

Here is a lateral view but it seems to be little help since the proboscis seems to still be retracted like the wings.

That's true, but the shape of the eye as well as antenna/arista confirms Stomoxys calcitrans.
