This beautiful bee was in Sabi?anigo, Aragon, Spain, about 800 meters high in a river zone with flowers. It sizes about 15 mm long -same size than a honey bee.

What bee can be?

Nice site, but I think not helpfull for Colletes from Portugal. Numer of species in Portugal is 3-4x higher than in the Neatherlands (with some recently described species), and even in the Netherlands or Central Europe, species ID by photo is normally not possible in this genus.

I can no longer send private messages (and maybe not receive?), even though my inbox and outbox are not yet full. I write, click "send" and they disappear and never show up in the outbox.
