Hello,

I photographed this fly near Lago delle Marmotte (TN), Italy, 2600m a.s.l. on August 5th 2020. I think it is a Muscidae, but I'm not totally sure about that. Is it possible to identify the genus or species from these photos?

Thank you in advance,
Emanuele

Emanuele, I poorly know European alpine species.
I think it is female Drymeia alpicola/brumalis

I can no longer send private messages (and maybe not receive?), even though my inbox and outbox are not yet full. I write, click "send" and they disappear and never show up in the outbox.
