Wonwoong I don't have any literature to identify Tachinidae from temperate Asia. There is only one species of Compsilura in the region (concinnata), but there is a genus named Compsiluroides of which I know nothing. |

Compsiluroides lacks both discal bristles on tergites and apicals on scutellum... both are present here. Ocellars are lacking, eye is hairy and 4 post DC present (atypical in Blondeliini), so it really keys out to Compsilura ... I agree the frons is much more golden than in European specimens. Theo |
