Hello,

as Scaptomyza flava was already recorded from this place one month ago ( https://diptera.info/forum/viewthread.php?thread_id=97175 ), do the leafmines belong to this species, too?

Data: Germany, Lower Saxony, Rodenberg, rape field, 60 m, 19 October 2020.

Best regards,
Tina.

Should be Scaptomyza flava. In North America we have a second species of Scaptomyza forming blotch mines in leaves of Brassica, but not yet recorded from B. napus.
