I can't say what it is, but interesting mimicry of a dry leaf. Maybe a nymph stage of some insect ... Very good photos. I hope Simo also takes some diptera photos and show us Wink

I think I found a good match: a caterpillar of Penthema formosanum (Satyridae or Nymphalidae/Satyrinae), should feed on various bamboo spp. Please compare with http://taiwanbutt...0-141a.jpg
