Hello,
In the South of France, April 21, 2015
A Chrysotoxum but I can't quite evaluate the length of the articles 3 and 1-2 of the antennas.
I also wonder about the last abdominal segment!
Thank you for your help

The length of the articles is difficult to evaluate but what does the shape of the last abdominal segment mean?

Well, it's really hard to evaluate, but the hind margins of tergite 4, 5 are yellow, the hairs on the sides of tergite 2 could be white? And if length article 3 = 1 + 2 it's C. cautum which can be seen in April.

Greetings, Eric

I can no longer send private messages (and maybe not receive?), even though my inbox and outbox are not yet full. I write, click "send" and they disappear and never show up in the outbox.
