Hi, yesterday, August, 8th, I got a few of these flies on leaves of hazel (?) at the side of a small river. northern Germany (Celle, Niedersachsen)
Much wind, so its not sharp. Thanks for your help to identify. Norbert.

Hello Norbert & Juergen,

This is a female Atricops crassipes (Meigen, 1820).
Far more often found as larvae than adult: https://www.resea.../273410804
