Hi

I have some larvae to rear out. I am trying to rear them to see what fly can come out... Perhaps an uncooked meat is enough? They are Sarcophagidae/Calliphoridae/Muscidae larvae... Suggestions will be welcome. Smile
Thank you.

i tend to use cat food in a pouch made of tin foil, which is placed on soil for pupation, all incased in a fly cage (or a polystyrine cup!!)

Cat litter (cheap non-clumping kind) would presumably also work as pupation medium.
