Hello, Thanks to the beautiful Manual of Afrotropical Diptera which is now downlable, I get to Pyrgotidae with this yellow fly from Ivory coast, and the family was confirmed on the insecte.org forum:  H. Dumas : Côte d'Ivoire : Man : -- : 25/08/2019 Altitude : 1200 m - Taille : wing: 8.4 mm Réf. : 251456 Then I found Nosferatumyia's paper dealing with afrotropical Campilocera: Korneyev, V. A. (2016). New Taxa and Synonymy in the Family Pyrgotidae (Diptera, Tephritoidea). II. Subtribe Adapsiliina and Afrotropical Campylocera. Vestnik zoologii, 50(3), 195-218[/i].... The habitus looks quite similar to this specimen and it possesses an incomplete costa not reaching apex of medial vein ... So couldl it be a Campylocera? Valery? Thank you for your help

I was pretty sure that I have replied. Yes, a Campylocera. One of the species formerly assigned to Clemaxia Enderlein. The group is unrevised, known from 5-6 specimens in World collections. Variability is unclear, males cannot be associated with females. A "dead end street" Val |
