Without a lateral picture, I dare not say. Note the very angular inner margin of calypter (“Sturmiini”) Theo |

Thanks, Theo I can't find a complete list of species in Sturmiini (I suppose splitted from Goniini), here: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/Taxonomy/Browser/wwwtax.cgi?mode=Undef&id=179458&lvl=3&keep=1&srchmode=1&unlock The only european genus is Sturmia and the unique species Sturmia bella... Which other genus could this be ? I found it more similar to Blepharippa pratensis, which was determined by you from a collected specimen at the same area: https://diptera.info/forum/viewthread.php?forum_id=5&thread_id=50538 Rafael Edited by rafael_carbonell on 14-03-2020 17:19 |

Sturmiini was in “ “, because it is no longer valid and split over bith Goniini and Eryciini. Sturmia has the scutellum dark and is a late summer species.... Pity we can’t see the hind tibiae. Theo |

It does resemble Blepharipa pratensis and it might be this species, but somehow it “does not feel right”. Theo |
