Syrphidae larva in Mirid bug? (was: Tachinid...)

Hi, these fotos from 2016-06-22 07:37 show the mirid bug Leptopterna dolabrata and a green parasitoid larva who already broke off the bug's abdomen.
Can it be a tachinid larva and if so - a Phasia obesa, which is mentioned in the T&H key as Leptopterna's parasitoid, but the size?

I think this is a syrphid larva. Although not common, there are cases of aphidophagous syrphid larvae feeding on adult mirids. see https://link.spri...006-9028-2

Hi Tony, thanks a lot - very interesting! I never heard about syrphid larvae hunting mirid bugs but my larva looks very much like a syrphid. I'll keep my eyes (and lens) open for that.
