I found these flies on rotten Jackfruit. Males acted as territirial ones.

Did you check if there is a row of thorns on the inner side of fore femur? This is a character of immigrans group, many Oriental species belong there.

av surface of f1 bears a complete row of short spines (in basal half they look more as setulae, in apical half as spines: shorter and stronger).
