 This lacks the head capsule typical of tipulids. I think it is more likely to be something like Scathophaga.

 I agree with Tony, no Tipulidae, but definitely Scatophagidae.

 Thankyou Tony and atylotus. I suspected it could be something else than Tipulidae but similar.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
