Found at Finca Las Piedras, near town of Monterrey in Madre de Dios region in southeastern Peru on 11.IX.2019. Female Asilinae.

Asilinae: female; genus? Has ovipositor very much like Lecania, but lacks the characteristic "3 day stubble" (only very short, erect setae covering scutellum & scutum) of that genus; this fly instead w/ typical 'long setae' present on thoracic dorsum.
