 Muscidae from Bolivia

I think Microcerella is the only green-eyed Sarcophagidae. |

Quoting Pape's 1990 review of American Sarcophaginae: "Microcerella is most diverse in the neotropical region and especially at high altitudes and in the southern temperate zones." |

Please submit to gallery. Zeegers wrote: Definitely a Sarc. So if John is right, it is easy. Theo I consider most Sarcophaginae hopeless even with a specimen. A handful of genera or subgenera have distinctive features. Unfortunately the easy ones are mostly from south of where I live. |
