Hello,
On October 08, 2019 in the south of France.
I think it's a Paragus, but is it fair and can we determine the species?
Thank you for your suggestions.

I can't find a black Paragus with orange legs.
Maybe it's not a Paragus?

Hello Liliane D,

It's a Paragus (Pandasiophthalmus) sp. female. Only collected specimens of males are reliable identified by examining the terminalia.
The subgenus can be identified by the entirely black scutellum and evenly haired eyes. Leg colour is irrelevant.
Kind regards,
Ectemnius

Thank you very much Ectemnius,
This is the first time I've seen a black Paragus and I'm very happy to give it a name and a subgenus.
Best regards
