Hello,

I am wondering if there is a scale with units that can be used to weigh diptera? I've tried this before using a handheld scale but many flies cannot be measured. A Platystoma lugubre weighed in at 0.03 grams but i don't even know if this is accurate. Do entomologists even weigh diptera? I'd like to document the weight of diptera. I'd like a handheld device like the one in my photo attachmen. Any tips? and it shouldn't cost hundreds of euros.

Best wishes,
John
