Stiphrolamyra sp.; does not key well in Londt 1983 revision of genus - but evidently not S. hermanni. |

Thanks much Eric. What character(s) point away from S. hermanni? Are there any closer crops I can provide that would help with ID? |

Jeff - my main problem is with 'vestiture' (setae covering body). This sp. is exceedingly short-setose (almost spiny), whereas most Stiphrolamyra (all others?) are glabrous. (And I have a reference specimen ID'd as hermanni which is glabrous). This is surprisingly not mentioned in key, hence my caution with ID. Cheers, Eric |
