Hello,

I found this 5 mm fly at the wall of a store room (northwest Germany). Unfortunately I could only take this single, small photo. Can nevertheless Scenopinus sp. be confirmed? It would be a new family/genus/species for me.

Certainly Scenopinus. Looks like S. niger.

I disagree. Scenopinus niger is black including legs. So, from this picture I think it is S. glabrifrons... Juergen, do you have the picture of higher quality?
