Found at La Selva Biological Station 15 Aug 2018. Atractia sp.?

Atractia marginata female, feeding on very small insect. (I can't ID the prey item, but she sure nailed-it!) Cheers, Eric |

Most probably the prey belongs to Auchenorrhyncha. |

Thanks much Eric and Jan. They must have very precise hypopharynx control. You would think that with something this small she would have stabbed right through it. I'll add it to the gallery. |
