Hi,

This spider has been found in the litter of a deciduous forest (18.10.20) in Paris suburbs.
I think this could be a linyphiid.
Any idea what it could be? Unfortunately this side view is the only picture I have.
Thanks for help,
FRV

Hello,

no, it is a Metellina (Tetragnathidae). Difficult to say from this angle, whether it is M. segmentata/mengei or M. merianae (that was my first thought, but the habitat fits better for the first species pair).
