Piani di Praglia, Genova, Italy - 2019-06-04 I have checked the key of Dictria genus in this site (http://www.robberflies.info/keyger/htmle/keydioctria.html#12), where it is saying that in Dioctria Hyalipennis "Stripe of pale tomentum on pleura complete, with an additional ventral stripe above middle coxa". No, I would ID this one as a female D. cf rufipes or D. cf sudetica, because the dusting on the mesonotum is reduced. Also the whole look of the creature reminds me more of D. rufipes. A lateral picture of the head could help a lot to be sure.

Sorry, I have no other good photo of this subject. But Fauna Europaea considers D. sudetica present only in Central Europe. So … D. cf. rufipes could be correct… Thank you again. Ettore |
