This september I collected again same(?) fly.
Now it seems to me that it is Heleomyzidae. My result is Scoliocentra amplicornis.
Nikita
P.S. Thread name changed from "Muscidae?" to Heleomyzidae to attract Andrzej attantion.

I might have observed the same species in Hungary yesterday at an elevation of 1000 m. It looks like a Heleomyzid, except that it does not have setae on the costa.

1. It has setas on C, but this setas are hardly or at least not as easy visible. And it looks very Muscidae-like indeed.
2. Size given in last year thread is too large, at least collected fly is 5-6mm.

Thank you Andrzej.
Thus, I had to go to "spines on C longer than hairs". If so, my key leads to Tephrochlamys flavipes, is it = T. gender?
