Hello,
in the middle of July I took several photos of a syrphid on umbellifers (white flowers: Coriandrum sativum, yellow ones: Foeniculum vulgare). I suppose this is a Cheilosia. The pictures are rather small-sized, so I am afraid there will be no species identification possible, but let's see. (In the central pic, there is also a Chrysis cf. ignita present.)
Thanks for help, Sundew

Yes female Cheiolsia. Plenty of choice for this one, so not possible to ID to species, but something like C proxima, C. vulpina.....Wink
