Hello, In July in France in the Pyrenees I photographed from all angles this diptera that seems to be a tolmerus : His ovipositor After looking on the internet I have no idea what a tolmerus it could be. My gut feeling is Machimus cf chrysitis but I can't see the details very well like the under side of the front femora (bristles) or the number of scutellar marginal bristles.
