These very active small hairy Asilidae where photographed in the Elburz Mountains, north Iran on 25 August 2018. Can they be identified?
Altitude 2400 meters. gps 36.222, 51.605

Yes, it's Pycnopgon, a choice of several species that are very similar.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
