Hello, this is my first post on this forum. As my english is not perfect, I hope I will not be wrong because the rules are difficult to read for me. I have a picture of a Diptera and cannot identify it. It was taken in Thailand (where I live), approx. 10-15 mm. There is also another picture of side if it is necessary. I hope you can help me. Welcome Didier, there is nothing wrong with your message. I know too little about oriental Asilidae but I can tell you that this creature belongs to the subfamily Asilinae. A photo from the side is more than welcome.
