 Really, really tiny midges #3: Sciaridae?

Hello! Another 1-1.5 mm midge from yesterday night in the garden (Ostwestfalen/Germany). Does it belong to family Sciaridae? Thanks! There are a few cecids with venation and antennae like this. The easiest way to tell them from sciarids is whether they have tibial spurs or not. With spurs = Sciaridae. Without spurs = Cecidomyiidae. Tony ---------- Tony Irwin |
